DevCap, leading the Sun Float Power consortium, has been selected to operate a 96MWp floating solar farm at De Slufter, Rotterdam, capable of generating around 87,000MWh annually, sufficient for 30,000 households. This initiative, part of the OER programme by the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth, utilizes 80 hectares of water surface, optimizing space by generating energy above a dredging depot. Sun Float Power, comprising experienced firms, was chosen for its collaboration plan and commitment to ecological considerations. The solar farm is slated for completion in 2027.
