CSX (NASDAQ: CSX) has announced new five-year tentative collective bargaining agreements with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and the Transportation Communications Union. CEO Joe Hinrichs emphasized the importance of employees in the company’s success and their role in creating a valued workplace. These agreements, pending union ratification, were reached ahead of schedule under the Railway Labor Act and cover over 50% of CSX’s unionized workforce. CSX aims to establish similar agreements with other unions to further enhance employees’ work conditions.
