Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey indicated that the company may shift its packaging strategy in response to rising costs due to new tariffs on aluminum and steel, possibly favoring plastic over aluminum cans. While acknowledging the tariffs’ impact, Quincey believes it won’t drastically alter Coca-Cola’s multibillion-dollar operations. Currently, over a quarter of Coca-Cola’s packaging involves aluminum and steel, and the company is also expanding its use of returnable glass bottles internationally, which have seen significant growth.
