CMA CGM Group will invest $20 billion over the next four years to enhance its maritime, warehousing, and air cargo operations in the U.S. This investment aims to triple its fleet of U.S.-flagged vessels to 30, digitize and improve port connectivity, and expand its network of 400 warehouses, while creating 10,000 jobs. Key allocations include $8 billion for containerships and $7 billion for logistics. The initiative also involves establishing a logistics R&D hub in Boston and deploying new air cargo aircraft at Chicago O’Hare, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening the U.S. supply chain.
