Chapman Freeborn, a division of Avia Solutions Group, successfully managed three charter flights transporting nearly 300 tonnes of solar panels from China to Türkiye in response to a tax change. Utilizing Boeing 777F aircraft from Qatar Airways and Silk Way West Airlines, the operation took place over three days in September, moving 447 pallets totaling 292 tonnes. Emre Sanisoglu, a Cargo Charters Consultant, highlighted the meticulous planning required to optimize aircraft space and ensure cost-effectiveness. Gerhard Coetzee, Vice President Cargo – IMEA, emphasized the company’s ability to coordinate complex deliveries efficiently, leveraging their extensive experience and global network.
