Cathay Pacific reported a significant increase in passenger numbers, carrying 1,816,908 passengers in September 2024, up 17.8% from the previous year, contributing to over 21 million passengers in the first nine months. Cargo operations also showed growth, with 133,079 tonnes transported in September, a 10.9% rise year-on-year. The airline is expanding its flight offerings, including a new route to Dallas starting April 2025, and enhancing customer experience with upgraded cabins on select flights. Additionally, the reopening of The Bridge lounge is planned for next year to meet increasing demand.
