In November 2024, Cathay Pacific transported 142,601 tonnes of cargo, marking a 15% increase from the previous year. The cargo revenue tonne kilometres rose by 11.9%, with a cargo load factor of 62.3%, up 1.2 percentage points. For the first 11 months of 2024, tonnage increased by 10.9% to 1,388,501 tonnes. Demand for perishables from the Americas and Southwest Pacific surged, alongside an uptick in mail volumes. The company anticipates strong financial results in the second half of the year due to high cargo demand and lower fuel prices.
