The global freighter fleet is expected to increase from 2,340 in 2023 to 3,900 by 2043, driven by rising e-commerce, changing supply chains, and strong demand from emerging markets, especially in Asia. The Asia-Pacific region is anticipated to see the most growth, nearly tripling its fleet and requiring around 980 new freighters, while North America will need about 955, together representing over two-thirds of new deliveries.
