Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR) has launched India’s largest Greenfield Domestic Cargo Terminal (DCT) in partnership with Menzies Aviation to enhance domestic cargo operations. The 245,000-square-foot facility aims to boost supply chains and innovation in regional trade, addressing the increasing demand for domestic air cargo. Equipped with advanced technology for real-time tracking and efficient cargo handling, the DCT has a peak capacity of 360,000 metric tonnes. It also supports environmentally sustainable practices and the handling of specialized cargo, positioning BLR Airport as a key logistics hub in South India.
