The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has appointed Pawel Jarza as the new director of policy, compliance, and external affairs amid a restructuring of its team. Jarza, who has over 20 years of experience in logistics and has worked with BIFA for six years, will oversee external lobbying efforts with government and stakeholders. Robert Windsor will transition to senior policy adviser, focusing on surface policy and legal matters, including a review of BIFA’s Standard Trading Conditions in light of post-Brexit challenges and global trade tensions.
