Azul Cargo Express, the logistics division of Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas, has introduced two Airbus A321P2F aircraft at its MRO hangar in Campinas, Brazil, with their inaugural flight set for February 15. These former passenger jets, now converted for cargo, will operate on domestic routes. Leased from AerCap, the aircraft can carry 27 tonnes of cargo, offering a 39% increase in payload and 27% reduction in fuel consumption compared to the existing fleet, alongside significant CO₂ savings. CEO John Rodgerson highlighted the importance of these additions for revolutionizing cargo transport in Brazil.
