Ascend Airways Malaysia, part of Avia Solutions Group, has obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Air Service Permit (ASP), enabling it to begin operations in November 2024. Following the receipt of a Conditional Air Service Permit earlier this year, the airline has collaborated with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia to secure these certifications. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Ascend Airways will offer cargo and passenger services in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, with passenger flights expected to start in early 2026, pending further approvals. CEO Germal Singh Khera emphasizes the airline’s role in enhancing Malaysia’s aviation sector and logistics capabilities.
