APM Terminals has signed a Letter of Intent with Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to enhance collaboration, aiming to more than double terminal throughput by 2030 and expand trade with Saudi Arabia. The Minister highlighted Bahrain’s strategic position as a trade hub, while APM Terminals’ CEO emphasized plans for economic growth, including a responsible ship recycling ecosystem. The company is also committed to achieving net-zero operations by 2040 and fostering local talent, supporting over 500 jobs and training programs in the region.
