Lucy, a 16-year-old Bengal tiger, has been relocated from an Eco Park in Mendoza, Argentina, to The Wildcat Sanctuary in Minnesota, USA, thanks to American Airlines Cargo. This move is part of the Mendoza Zoo’s transition to an Eco Park, which involves relocating its animals to better sanctuaries. Lucy’s journey included a 750-mile truck ride to Ezeiza Airport, followed by an 11-hour flight to JFK, and then a 1,200-mile drive to her new home. American Airlines Cargo previously assisted in the relocation of another animal, Sandra, in 2019.
