Amazon will close its Reno, Nevada fulfillment center on August 2, 2024, as part of its strategy to enhance delivery speed. The facility, which primarily managed large shipments, will affect 325 employees. Despite this closure, Amazon is expanding its same-day delivery capabilities in Reno, ensuring continued service in the area and promising job opportunities at a new facility under construction.
