Amazon is set to introduce a “fully managed” option for sellers using its Supply Chain by Amazon service, which automates logistics, warehousing, and distribution decisions. Previously, sellers had to handle their logistics individually, but now they only need to specify product quantity and pickup location. The service streamlines operations by managing cross-border transportation, customs, and warehousing. This automated solution, leveraging machine learning, will be gradually rolled out to U.S. sellers in October, with a global launch expected by year-end, offering reduced fees for storage and transportation.
