Airbus has marked a significant milestone in the production of the A350F freighter with the completion and transport of the first Section 19 from Getafe to Hamburg. This project, initiated in 2022, involved the development of a new workstation and collaboration among various teams to ensure smooth implementation. Section 19 features a protector for ground operations, which required reorganization to maintain quality without disrupting passenger aircraft production. Airbus anticipates that the A350F will enter service in late 2027, with 63 orders received as of January 2025.
