Rates from Asia Pacific saw a 6% week-on-week hike, with tonnages also up by 2%. Spot rates from this region climbed to $3.78 per kilo, a 24% year-on-year gain, influenced by the early Lunar New Year. Additionally, Colombian and Ecuadorian flowers dominate air exports to North America, accounting for 98% of the trade, highlighting their market significance despite recent disputes.
