Glasgow Prestwick Airport recently welcomed a delegation from Air China Cargo for a three-day visit to enhance collaboration and support Scotland’s export growth. The visit emphasized the airport’s role as a key gateway for UK exports, particularly in high-value sectors like whisky and seafood. Ian Forgie, CEO of the airport, highlighted the importance of aligning cargo operations with exporters’ needs. The delegation engaged in discussions and tours with industry stakeholders, showcasing Prestwick’s capabilities as a freight hub. Another delegation from China Southern Air Logistics is scheduled to visit in October.
