Air Canada experienced a 16% rise in cargo revenue, totaling $250 million in Q1 2025, driven by increased shipper activity ahead of tariff deadlines and changes in U.S. duty-free rules. Revenue from Pacific routes grew 22% to $76 million, while Atlantic routes saw a 6% increase to $89 million. Overall revenue slightly fell to $5.2 billion, with a net loss of $102 million. CEO Michael Rousseau noted improvements in on-time performance and customer satisfaction while announcing a revised EBITDA forecast of $3.2-3.6 billion for 2025 due to market trends and fuel prices.
