Air Canada experienced an 18% rise in cargo revenue, reaching C$253 million in Q3 2024, driven by increased yields and volumes in the Pacific market. However, this was partially offset by declines in belly cargo and freighter revenues in the Atlantic. For the first nine months of 2024, cargo revenue grew 3% year-over-year to C$698 million. The airline reported a 4% drop in operating revenue to $6.1 billion and a 24% decrease in adjusted net income to C$969 million. Air Canada has raised its 2024 adjusted EBITDA guidance to C$3.5 billion, reflecting positive demand and operational improvements.
