The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) has appointed Juan Duarte as its first Executive President for Latin America, marking a significant milestone for the organization and its commitment to the region. Duarte, previously CEO of DUAGA, brings extensive experience in the port sector and has been involved in AAPA’s Professional Development Board. Additionally, Zulma Dinelli will lead the AAPA Latam event in June 2025 in Lima, Peru, which aims to enhance collaboration in the port industry. AAPA Latin America will focus on improving competitiveness through sustainability, digitalization, and education services, with strong support from industry leaders.
