The Jacksonville Port Authority and Ocean Network Express (ONE) will introduce a new weekly shipping service from Jacksonville, Florida, to Asia starting in February 2025. This expanded East Coast 2 (EC2) route will utilize 13,500 TEU container ships, linking Jacksonville with major ports in China, South Korea, Panama, and the U.S. ports of Savannah and Charleston. The vessels will dock at the revamped SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal, where SSA Atlantic will manage stevedoring services, enhancing trade connections between East Asia and North America.
