This move aims to position the company closer to its customer base and its sleeping bag manufacturing plant in Alabama. Exxel is investing over $2 million in this transition, aided by a $267,389 tax incentive from the Mississippi Development Authority. The relocation is expected to create at least 50 jobs with salaries significantly above the state average, and Exxel’s CEO expressed enthusiasm about joining the Tupelo community.
