Emirates Airlines highlighted these issues, stating the engine’s maintenance intervals were inadequate. Rolls-Royce is working on improvements, including a new coating to enhance durability. Airbus anticipates a 45% growth in the global freighter fleet by 2045 and has secured 65 orders for the A350F, with testing scheduled for 2026-2027.
