BioNatur Plastics has formed a European partnership to produce biodegradable and 100% recyclable stretch wrap at the same price as traditional non-biodegradable options. This allows cargo operators to enhance sustainability without incurring extra costs. Unlike conventional wraps that can last up to 1,000 years in landfills, BioNatur’s product decomposes in eight to twelve years. It contains a food-safe organic polymer for safe digestion by anaerobic bacteria, maintaining performance without harmful microplastics. BioNatur’s initiative supports compliance with EU environmental regulations while ensuring competitive logistics for exporters.
