HarperCollins Publishers is set to enhance its North American operations with a 1.6 million-square-foot automated logistics facility in Brownsburg, Indiana, aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and visibility. Equipped with advanced technology for goods handling and specialized packaging to minimize waste, the facility will facilitate the shipment of over 300 million books annually. Expected to open in 2028 and create over 400 jobs, this hub will mark a shift from outsourcing logistics, consolidating operations into a single site. Construction is anticipated to begin this year.
