Antonov Airlines, in collaboration with Ceva Logistics, successfully transported a 40-ton shipment, including the European Space Agency’s ‘Hera’ spacecraft, from Germany to the USA using an AN-124 aircraft. ‘Hera’, launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9, will study the asteroid Dimorphos, which was previously impacted by NASA’s DART spacecraft. The mission aims to enhance understanding of planetary defense techniques by employing advanced technologies for asteroid navigation and CubeSat communication in space. The operation exemplified effective teamwork and meticulous handling of sensitive cargo.
