Giant Eagle has launched a new cloud-based warehouse management system at three of its distribution centers, transitioning from an on-premises solution from Manhattan Associates. The company plans to implement this system in four additional centers by August 2025. Following the rollout, the centers quickly returned to previous production levels, and the platform will receive quarterly updates, enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, Giant Eagle has opened an automated micro-fulfillment center in Pittsburgh and expanded its partnership with Flybuy to improve delivery times.
