Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal (PACTL) has successfully implemented Hermes 5 across four cargo terminals, minimizing downtime during this major upgrade. Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) coordinated closely with PACTL, which handles up to two million tonnes of cargo annually, to ensure a smooth transition. The upgrade included comprehensive gap analysis, database optimization, and training in Chinese through HLT’s Learning Management System. This transition enhances PACTL’s operational efficiency and customization capabilities while integrating with other technologies, positioning it at the forefront of air cargo advancements.
